How It Works

A clear route from first enquiry to university onboarding.

Know what happens next, who is responsible and which decisions remain with the university or relevant authority.

BETU helps organise the agreed planning, preparation, application and arrival process. Your route becomes clearer stage by stage, with responsibilities visible along the way.

01   Start

Start with what
you know today.

The first stage is about understanding your current position, study goals and the questions that need closer review.

01

Initial assessment

BETU

Organises the information you provide into an initial study-planning picture.

You

Share your study goal, academic background, teaching-language preference, intended start, budget considerations and other relevant information.

Next milestone

A clearer starting point and the questions that need adviser review.

02

Adviser discussion

BETU

Reviews the information that needs discussion and helps clarify possible directions.

You

Ask questions, confirm priorities and explain where your plans are flexible or fixed.

Next milestone

A defined direction for the study route and support that should be discussed next.

02   Define

Turn the conversation
into an agreed route.

Before work begins, the proposed route, service scope and costs should be clear enough for you to review.

03

Proposed route & written quote

BETU

Sets out the intended study route, agreed service scope, selected support, fee structure and separately payable costs.

You

Review the proposal, ask questions and confirm that the scope reflects what you actually need.

Next milestone

A written proposal you can review before committing.

04

Agreement & payment

BETU

Confirms the agreed service arrangement and the next work stage.

You

Review the applicable terms and complete the agreed payment stage before paid work begins.

Next milestone

The agreed support scope becomes active and preparation can begin.

03   Prepare

Preparation turns the route
into something actionable.

Once the scope is agreed, preparation focuses on the materials and actions needed for the application route being pursued.

05

Document preparation

BETU

Helps organise the agreed preparation work, required application materials and preparation priorities within the confirmed service scope.

You

Provide accurate information and documents, complete required personal actions and respond when additional material or clarification is needed.

Next milestone

The agreed application materials are ready for the next application stage.

04   Apply

Applications move forward.
Decisions remain independent.

BETU can help organise the agreed application work and keep next actions visible. The institutions responsible for the outcome make their own decisions.

06

Applications & updates

BETU

Supports the agreed application process, organises follow-up and helps keep requests and next actions visible.

You

Provide required information, review requested items and respond to university requests where your participation is needed.

Next milestone

The agreed applications are submitted or progressing through their institution-specific process.

07

Admission-dependent next steps

BETU

Helps interpret the practical next steps after an update or decision and organises the agreed follow-up.

You

Review the outcome and complete any personal actions required for the next stage.

Next milestone

A clear understanding of what can proceed next and what still depends on an external decision.

Decision gate

Some decisions
sit outside BETU.

BETU can help you prepare and organise the process. The final decision remains with the organisation responsible for it.

University

Admission decisions

Universities assess applications and decide admission outcomes according to their own requirements and processes.

Scholarship provider

Scholarship decisions

Scholarship providers assess eligibility, competition and award decisions independently.

Relevant authority

Visa decisions

Visa applications and immigration decisions remain with the relevant authorities.

05   Move

Prepare to leave.
Know where support hands over.

The final stages connect pre-departure preparation with the agreed onboarding work and a clear completion point.

08

Departure preparation

BETU

Helps organise the agreed pre-departure guidance and arrival arrangements.

You

Complete personal travel, visa and university requirements and confirm the information needed for the agreed arrival support.

Next milestone

Travel and arrival details are sufficiently organised for the agreed next stage.

09

Onboarding & handover

BETU

Supports the agreed university-onboarding tasks and records the completion point of the contracted work.

You

Attend required procedures, provide documents and complete actions that require your personal participation.

Next milestone

A handover showing what is complete, what remains and who is responsible next.

Questions

Know what happens
before you begin.

What happens after I complete the study assessment?

Your answers are organised into an initial planning picture. Where programme details or requirements need closer checking, those points can be identified for adviser review before the next route is confirmed.

Do I need to choose a university before speaking with BETU?

No. You can begin with a subject area, degree level, language preference, city preference or a broader study goal. The early process is designed to clarify what still needs to be decided.

When do I receive a written quote?

The written proposal follows the planning and adviser-discussion stage once the intended route and service scope are clear enough to define. It should explain the agreed work, fee structure and separately payable costs before commitment.

Does paying BETU guarantee admission?

No. Universities make admission decisions. BETU's role is to provide the agreed planning, preparation, coordination and practical support around the process.

What happens if a university asks for more information?

BETU can help keep the request and next action visible within the agreed application scope. You remain responsible for providing accurate personal information and completing actions that require your participation.

Who makes the visa decision?

The relevant authority makes visa and immigration decisions. BETU can provide the agreed guidance and preparation support, but does not make or guarantee the decision.

When does the standard support process finish?

The completion point is defined by the agreed service scope. For complete study support, the standard process continues through the agreed university-onboarding tasks and concludes with a clear handover of completed and remaining items.
